Basic Life Support & Recognition of the Sick Child Healthcare Training

Completing this course will give the learner the confidence to recognise signs of the child’s condition worsening, the steps to take to prevent a child from deteriorating further and if this is not possible, to have the confidence to commence basic life support whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive.

This course is suitable for :
Parents, Carers, Childminders, Nurses, Nursery Workers, Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

Certification :
You will be continually assessed throughout the session and will receive certification if you are able to meet all of the learning objectives throughout the session.

If the facilitators notice that you will require some support to achieve the objectives then you will receive further facilitator support during the session to enable you to achieve them.
